led headlight?

I need some info on led headlights. Are any of you guys running them? How do they compare to hids?

I'm not using them myself but it seems to significantly matter what housing they are installed in (oem, aftermarket, or specific led style assembly). Of course I hear the same thing with hid also. Some applications hid bulbs in a stock housing don't have a proper dispersion pattern for a bulb that intense. Ends up making the beams narrow and insanely bright. Curious myself what setup people are using.

Cool I'm thinking about replacing headlights and fogs. How much did they run

The photo of the light output on the road really do not do these lights justice it is much better in person. I think these lights run about $60 I traded a local accessories shop to bedliner a toolbox for low beam and fog lights. As previously stated I do not have fogs installed yet.

I've heard they're between halogen and HID as far as brightness goes but I haven't actually seen any of them to compare. Just like with HID though, I wouldn't put them in reflector housings unless you like to blind oncoming traffic.

El capitan, in the 1st pic (head on from a distance), where is the camera in relation to the headlights? Is the camera low, or is it a downhill from the truck to the camera?

Reason I ask is if the camera is level or above the headlights they are gonna blind the piss out of oncoming traffic with glare
