What is the one thing you hate most about your Tahoe or Yukon and what did you do to fix it???

I apologize if I offended you in any way. Definitely was not intentional. One of my old First Sergeants used to say that and it's the first thing that came to mind. Congrats on the big family, you're a stronger man than I am. I only have two and I admit I have my hands full! lol
I think it's the wife.

No worries, just the mama bear coming out in me (and sleep deprivation probably contributed, too). I'm strong, but definitely not a man. Lol. Just a homeschooling mama of 5 who works on her car to get away from the daily madness of parenthood.

I agree with the 2nd and 3rd row seats. I assume one COULD make a track for the 2nd row to go back or forward, but in my car, the way the floor is, it would ONLY be forward.

UNLESS...

hmm... I'm not good enough with metal work, but what if we put the tracks on the seat instead of the floor?

anyways, yeah, thats about it, or maybe a handle to open the liftgate from inside (car camping)

I hate that the factory door-lock actuators fail so easily and without warning. I've replaced one on each rear door within the past 10 months and expect one or both for front doors to fail any second.

An indoor handle for the rear hatch would be great. I've wished for that more than a few times.

Another thing is the no backup camera. I wouldn't say it's something I "hated" but it's definitely something I wanted to remedy asap. So I got a cheap camera off Amazon, a not-so-cheap interface from NavTool, and now have a backup camera that displays on the stock navigation screen. Once I get around to it, I'll add a front bumper camera for pulling in without bumping something or leaving 2 feet of space. Lol.

@jarydM I found a YouTube video on how to easily open the rear hatch or rear hatch glass from the inside, not via a mod, just reaching into the panel and pushing the rod and/or lever the right way. I haven't taken the time to look in the rear hatch panel to check everything out, but I'm betting an inside handle could be fabricated without too much trouble. Definitely on my list of mods.

The thing I can't stand and is a complete eyesore are my torsion bars. I have a six inch suspension lift and got it just before the Non Torsion Drop kits came along. I've bugged Rough Country and they're finally letting me purchase just the NTD brackets so I can tuck my bars back inside my frame!!!
I actually kinda like the look of the dropped torsion bars, I have no idea why but I just do

Used this exact video to get my lift gate open when the lock got stuck.

Hats off to you mama for the work you put in and still put in some wrench time too.

inside handles on the rear doors would be a win. I have barn doors. had to climb in one morning when the rest were frozen. Not thinking, pulled closed once in. Had to wait in the truck, in shorts and a t shirt. for the truck to warm enough to get out. not fun.
