Why do I want HID headlights again???

So,I read this novel by Soulsea about HID lighting,I laughed,I cried and fell in love.Then right toward the end,he installs HIDs. For 90% of the time he seems to be discouraging folks from putting them in,then he installs them anyways.What a dick!

So,quit messing with my head,man.

Please tell me why I needs 'em.

Ya I went the same route for my '02 2500 Silverado. Last time I took it out I was really not pleased with the light output. It was crap. I said f-it and just installed hids in the headlights. I don't drive it very often and its dark out here.

I can see and feel the passion everyone has for HIDs.It's contagious.

I have a fever,and the cure is more HID.

Is there any up to the minute updates on these setups? Is there anything new that everyone must know? I still am not clear on what housing is the best to go with on my Yukon. I don't need it yesterday,I can start looking for parts now,and try to snag some bargains.

I am thinking that a Denali OEM housing is of top quality,but what about an aftermarket housing like Depo? I would like the foundation of the work to be high quality and last a while.
