Yea, one is silver and the other is the same dark green/olive color, like my 2002. I am just glad I got my new to me 2005 Z71 last Monday about 7 miles from where I live.
Never hurts to have a few Z71s laying around!

Those are nice low miles, but your new 05 for roughly the same $ is better by far. Even just for the electric fans. Some other nice little extras for 05-6, as well. You did great, Ron!
P.s. which rear glass does your 05 have?

I have a hatch instead of barn doors but I feel that is not what the question is about. Rear glass?
The decoder info I looked up says, "Solar-Ray deep tinted".

One is framed (like your 02) and one is frameless (like my 06). Lol. Check @05Single recent build thread posts for details. Frameless mostly on 06 models, but we've found a few 05s with it, as well.

My 02 has barn doors. The 05 is framed.
Is it just a look or is there a disadvantage or an advantage? I don't see why one would be better than the other and likely IMO, the framed is better.

Forgot about your barn doors (love those). I would say
1. The frameless looks WAY better.
2. Never heard the "exploding" glass stories about the frameless.
I have both and like the framelss much better.
