Hello everyone. I'm Changing the look of my two door. Currently running 22in wheels with 305/40/22 tires. Looking to by 16in wheels with either 285/75/16s or 315/75/16s. The heights are 32.84in, and 34.65in respectively. I have done a 1.5in crank and 1.25in block in rear. before the crank and block I ran 285s no problem. Question is are the 315s a pipe dream? Thank you for any help. Looking at General red letter Grabbers on American Outlaw Patrol wheels, matte black.

Local Craigs has BFGs 315/70/17s four for $250. Tires are 34.4in . I would buy 17in wheels if I could run those.

Well after an hour of research on tire sites I think I am going to purchase 305/70/16, a 33in tire. Does any one know if these will fit with a torsion crank and 1.25 rear blocks? They are going on an 8in wheel. I previously ran 285/75/16s before crank and blocks. Thank you.

Thanks. I measured my 285s today, only 31.5 tall. Its nuts how different tire brands all measure up differently, thats supposed to be a 32.8in tire. They are Mastercraft btw.

Only" true" 33" tires will be measured in standard not metric. Metric height varies by tire. All 33x XX x XX tires will be in the 33" range. Same with 35's etc.

Great info thank you. Do you think 305/70/16 will fit. supposedly they are 1in wider, same height as the 285/75/16s that I ran stock before crank and 1.25in block?

Thats what i'm thinking Sunlit. I'm gonna take a shot with the 305s. I wish the red letter grabbers came in 305, only 285s or 315s which will never fit. Thanks to all that helped.
