Most platforms have a thread that lists needed lifts/mods to run a certain sized tire.
like a database.

I looked for a thread that had that here and couldn’t find one (albeit from my phone which sucks).

can we start and I’ll update this first post with details.

For instance:

-275/65/18 on oem wheels, (32.1 OD) no mods needed

Custom Offset is a pretty good site for seeing what has worked and the amount of rubbing or not rubbing. Jus put in year make model in Gallery and it will show pictures of the vehicle and the set up their running and cost, along with notes of what had to be done to fix rubbing or not

I have 275/65/R18 tires and factory Trail Boss wheels with no rubbing. I do not have a leveling kit (yet).

6 inch Rough Country lift with 35 x 12.5 x 17. The lift called for a back spacing of 4 and a half inches on the wheels (and a 2 inch spacer in the rear on both sides to even out the width). That is what I went with on the American Racing Wheels. I did have to cut the plastic at the back of the fender well in the front and the tires would barely rub at full lock at the very bottom inside of the fender well. Luckily it was underneath and a few taps with s sledge hammer pushed the metal out of the way. I had a little more room to lift the front but I also didn't want to go full crank on it and really mess up the ride. Overall happy with it and gets a lot of compliments for being 15 years old. I do believe most lift or lower kits specify what you can and should run with them.
