2009 Tahoe - Need help with AFM/DOD full delete parts list.
Recently i had a sudden drop of oil pressure on my 09 tahoe... while it's still in spec, and i have DOD disabled via tune, it's still nagging at me. looks like i'm holding a steady 25-28psi at hot idle... Main thing i don't like is following the 10psi per 1k RPM, when i get up in the 5k range...www.tahoeyukonforum.com
Unless it’s a unicorn Tahoe with the 6.2L it has AFM. 09 with the 5.3 is when it got the 6SP trans. Better milage and drivability. 155k milage is pretty nice to start. I’m at 160k on my 09. I do about 10k a year since ‘20 when purchased.

if you take it to the dealer close to a grand, that cost is split between fluids and laborWhat’s a ball park figure on how much changing all the fluids are minus an oil change goes for? I recently bought an ‘09 with 160k. The oil change was done before I took delivery, the tranny looked clean and full when I looked at it. But after reading a few of these replies I’m ready to get mine done.
Either you do it or have it done. IMO, ALL fluids need to be done and then you have a base for the age and easier to keep track of and protect your vehicle. That is if you plan to keep it. I just did my oil change today and I still had 25% Oil Life left. It was the time at my mileage interval. What’s a ball park figure on how much changing all the fluids are minus an oil change goes for? I recently bought an ‘09 with 160k.
