Hi Everyone,
I have a 21 Denali with the air suspension on it. At normal ride does anyone know what the overall height of the vehicle is? On the GMC website it says the height of the vehicle is 76.5”. My garage opening is 82.5”. When I measure from the top of the vehicle at the highest point to the top of the garage it is I have 5” from the top of the door to the top of the vehicle. Which would mean the vehicle is at 77.5”. My drive way slopes down by the way about three feet out of the door. Otherwise it’s level.
The reason I ask is because I’m buying a 3500HD and it’s max heigh its 81.5”. Which means I’m brushing paint if GM’s measurements are off by 1”. The only thing I can think of is the normal ride height is off by 1” because of the air suspension vs. the standard suspension.
