Just picked up a 2022 Suburban LT. it has the tow/trailering package, but does not have the integrated trailer brake controller. I picked up a Curt setup and found the wiring behind the dash. While removing the electrical tape from the wires, one of them touched something metal and shorted. Does anyone know what fuse I need or relay I need to check?

You should have the battery disconnected.. first!
Look in the owner's manual for the fusebox diagram. The trailer brake controller fuse should be on the list and show the position in the fusebox.
