I hate these ridiculous 'updates' from Samsung ... When I text, and click on "photos".....
Now, I get this completely STUPID screen.... I get 3/4's of my screen with a live VIDEO OPTION ???

Then I have to touch, the LITTLE LINE, just below, the "take picture button", to open up WHAT I WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.... PHOTOS !!

What Samsung MORON, thought this would be neat ??? Good f-fen grief.....

Apparently the original external transmission cooler was a little more efficient. This one, after 15-30 miles the transmission fluid is going to be 100 degrees over ambient.

On thecopcar getting the grill out of the way was the hardest part. Disconnecting the original external cooler there took perhaps 30 seconds.

The grill was the easiest part of the job on the third twin. The connections to the external cooler are visible. Getting tool access, well lemme tell you a story…

Actually, let’s just say it’s a gigantic PITA.

Mounting and plumbing the new cooler is straightforward.

Before I replaced the grill, I drove around for 10 miles or so. Slow hilly roads. Not much airflow and lots of heat potential. I could still touch the cooler with my bare hand. Not for long but it didn’t burn.

The cables in front of everything are for the strobes and winch.

Just took a 10 mile run at 80mph. Transmission temp topped out at 147 degrees.

Hahaha I just rolled over to 260,000 on my 97 but a goose crossing the road ruined it for me! It was either a fender bender or miss seeing it

Just took thethirdtwin for a 30 mile jaunt at highway speed. It’s 100 degrees outside. Transmission got all the way to 156F. I’m liking this.

Weekly office visit because of 100 mile round trip.

At this point, it would have been 180 degrees the last few weeks.

I’m liking this 35 degree drop.

Last week at the same place, time, outside temp, and traffic conditions, the transmission temp was 205 degrees.

OCD says, we need more voltage.

In case anyone wonders, I get about this mileage in both Hoes. City, highway, towing or not, it’s right in this neighborhood.

Drove it to New Mexico (again) yesterday. Saw some scenery. Had some vices.
