I’ve only had theothertwin for a year. I somehow missed the radar antenna on the windshield, hidden by the mirror and eyebrow tint.

Finding that antenna brings clarity to the torn tint on the rear window. For another antenna, of course. This explains the adhesive spot in the same place on thecopcar rear window.

Also, the tint as soooo dark, you have to really look to see the tear from outside.

Another thecopcar update. The drain holes in the lower tube of the pushbar seem to have helped. We had 6” of rain overnight a couple of days ago.

Yeah made a big difference on mine too. No more rust streaks so far.

I scored a radio console and electronics drawer At auction from the state. I couldn’t tell from the photos, but they turned out to be brand new, just dirty. $12.50

I want that console! But the dogs wouldn’t like it, because the have become accustomed to entering and exiting through the space between the front seats.

Thecopcar received a Crime Scene (tm) awning the other day. I finally deployed it today for a test shade.

During a trip to Big Bend last week, the radiator in thecopcar burst the upper tank. About a 3” crack near the top. Some JB Weld and a loose pressure cap let me finish the trip and get home. Another 700 miles. After I got home the Cold Case I had been eyeing was ordered and delivered in 2 days from Summit in Fort Worth.

Apparently the design has changed a bit. I didn’t have to do any fan shroud trimming others have done in the past.

After an engine warm up, then test driving about 20 miles I’m pleased. The engine is running 7-10 degrees cooler on the highway. The transmission is 25 degrees cooler.
