I kno we touched basis on this already on few times this site but i believe we only spoke on avoiding syntectic oils. i want to kno the driving styles that you guys have become comfortable with and the oil that you use to 1) avoid costlt repairs and 2) give you the flexibility to drive the way you want.

Reason i ask is that i dont say i speed everywhere i got but i hate driving on the highway and there is like 50 cars all cluttered in a small space where as if some1 just speed up and move over and let everyone else pass. Second i sumtimes have a heavy foot but nuffin dangerous just enjoying the power and take off of my trucc and want to kno the best oil period for more peace of mind under the hood right now i brought 6 quarts of MOBIL 1 Extended Performance & Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil FIlter!!! good choice for my style or way of driving.

Nice choics, I use the same snthetic oil and a K&N Gold filter along with it instead of the Mibil1, though I herd they are almost the same!
I also have a K&N Perf, air filter, thinking about getting either a train horn kit or a CAI, decisions decisions!

I had switched to Mobil 1 for last year that I had my trailblazer. Tahoe is due for first oil change soon and I will also being going with Mobil 1 oil & filter. I trust the local mechanic at the Exxon station more than the dealer. He used 6 or 7 quarts in the trailblazer, not sure what he'll do for the Tahoe.

Thats tight Blizzard, I thin i'm leaning towards the train horn kit now since I want to wait till the BB Tune to get the CAI!

Well do you plan on mounting the compressor?

By the way guys I don't mean to ***** the thread, my Tahoe uses 5 quarts of the Ext. Perf. 15k mile oil with like a pint or two of the STP Oil Additive just to let yall know!

I use Royal Purple synthetic in the Tahoe and I could not be happier. But I use Mobile 1 in the Benz and so far so good. You know its a good oil if thats what Mercedes recommends.

I run K&N CAI, and Royal Purple! :)

Due to the fact that Im lowering the Denali this week and will no longer be using the Air Shocks, I'm going to hook the tiny stock air ride compressor up to a tiny air tank (since the Air Horn doesnt need much)

Royal Purple, Mobil 1 and a spell checker.

He uses "cc" instead of "ck" for a reason in which he explained in a post a while back. I wont speak for him, just letting u know he isn't illiterate, it's purposely done.

I run royal purple in the diffs and engine, 100k+ with no leaks and perfect compression. K&N oil filters every 5k.

Is there a power difference from using the Royal Purple over the Mobil 1 Syn.? or better yet a noticeable power difference.

Also everyone at what mileage do you change your tranny fluid and diff fluids at? what do you recommend i'm at around 20k+ i think haven't paid attention, but for the same reasons i mentiond before should i do the same for the tranny and diff? as far as syn or better performing brand fluids.

Diffs and trans every 20k, I've never noticed a difference between mobile1 and rp I just use the purple stuff cuz it's cheap through work. GM fluids work best in the tcase and trans.
