Have you checked out Black Bear Tune? They are a vendor on here and can get you a custom tune for a similar price.

Hand held tuners have really never proven themselves to be worth the money at all. They show minimal gains at best.

Custom tuned computers like what Black Bear Performance offers is a real tune. They will improve drive ability, mileage, power, etc to your wishes. They can also tune for specific mods.

Overall, handhelds cost a fortune for almost no gains other than a lighter wallet...

well i have used hand held "power programmers" for years and have never been impressed, but i just got a custom tune from black bear and i can not tell you what an improvement, im still shocked its incredible, not to mention $150 cheaper, the power and shifting is amazing so was the service from justin and jenna, but most of all, THE MILEAGE, i went from 600-630 kms a tank to 738 and 746 on my last two. i can not repeat enough how this is the greatest product and mod i have done or anyone can do

You need to look into the EFI Live from Black Bear. You can buy one programmer and tune both your rides. Justin can load tunes for each vehicle specifically into the one hand held. Not sure about cost but from what I've heard about Justin and Jenna it will be well worth it. I'm working on saving my $549 so I can get mine done.

I purchased the EFIlive Autocal unit from them, and its a bad dude little piece of equipment. It comes with very detailed instructions, and is well worth it so far, and i haven't even got a tune yet :) I am changing some trans parts today and then data logging, I will let you know how well it goes. It was $549 for the unit and I think I read its another $250 or $275 for a second vehicle license, but that comes with the tune as well
