Steering wheel play

I have about 1" play in my steering wheel from side to side while the car is in park or shut off. The wheels don't move while the steering is flowing. I checked the inner/outer tie rods and replaced the pitman and idler arms about 2 months ago. My hubs are good too, im not sure what the problem is.
