Hello!
The collection of my perversions:) already has a front bumper made of mirror stainless steel ... https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/stainless-steel-bumper-front.116602/
Now, next in line is the stainless steel rear bumper.
The disadvantage of the rear bumper is still the poor corrosion resistance of its chrome and iron and, in addition, to the niche - the step for the registration number does not fit a long Russian number.
The algorithm is almost the same.
Only, a niche is added - a step and a coating of the upper edge of the bumper with something anti-slip and, for authenticity and similarity to the standard one, in black.
From a sheet of stainless steel we bend a complex channel,
- we cut, bend and weld the bumper lateral roundings into sectors,
- cut, turn and brew a long niche - a step,
- from aluminum “quintet” we form a cover plate and paint it with black powder coating.
In my opinion, there is one drawback ---- sharp outlines of the upper edges.
But, this eternal bumper will survive OBS ;)
A brief sequence in the photo.
