I didn't realize some came with the "body line" across the bumper and some didn't.
Anyway, ordered mine brand new from ebay for $350. And as far as I know, all the ones I have seen slip over the original bumper once you remove the lower valence.

Hey quick question for you guys w/ the ss bumpers, Are they fiberglass or like a plastic bumper cover? Found one pretty cheap local and says its fiberglass. Just wondered if there were any problems for seen w/ the fiberglass ones. Or a plastic type was better.

yeah there plastic. i wouldnt get a fiberglassed one no good.

I think the plastic/fiberglass ones are prone to cracking. Mine is flexible and can bend like rubber. Had mine on now for 8 months and have no complaints

thanks jd and twizted, thats what i was thinking. I researched it and didnt sound good. Didnt think they were fiberglass. B/c the ones i have seen for sale are cracked all over..

Ok so I have noticed something about the ss bumpers. In the pics above there is a "long line that dips" in the center of the bumper. This guys bumper doesn't have it. Whats the difference?

^--- those are the SS rims. They are 22" ss rims though. search for his name and you'll see his mods. Very awesome truck.

Yes. You don't even need to heat them up. Just some elbow grease, 3M adhesive remover, & some drinks.
