03 Denali with Bose system.
I came by some free/donated Kenwood amps
KAC-X1R - mono sub-woofer amplifier. 600 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (1200 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
KAC-X4R - 4-Channel Car Amplifier. RMS Power Rating .4 ohms: 75 watts x 4 chan.
I picked up Hertz Dieci Component sets for the doors. $220 CAD taxes in. (6.5 front/5.25 rear)
I plan on picking up a 12" sub to put into the custom 12 molded box the previous owner had put in.
Questions.
1. I want to keep all of the chimes/controls of the stock Bose amp....snip the console sub wire and call it a day?
2. A-pillar and D-pillar speakers....run them off the Head unit? Kenwood DPX792bh (steering wheels control module installed)
3.Sound deadening....i ordered a couple of Noico 80 mil sound deadening mat packages....where and how much should i be using? Also ordered black carpet to reduce the beigeness.
