So how did you install your front spacers?

Got the kit, 1,2 inch thick aluminum alloy spacers that go under the struts. (for roughly 2,5 inches of lift)

Raised left side of the car with a jack and jackstands and started undoing the bolts (those stock clips are absolute garbage btw, snapped off and spun freely right off the bat).

Realized lower control arms weren't dropping, assumed it has to do with the sway bar anf wondering if disconnecting the swaybar linkage first is the right move. So what way did you do it?

Could be that or could be you got to loosen the LCA to frame bolts so the bushings can swivel to the new clocked position.

Undo the swaybar endlinks, lift the entire front end if possible.

You'll want to disconnect the upper ball-joint so the knuckle and lower-control arm can droop far enough to allow the bottom of the shock to lift off the LCA.

You'll likely need to disconnect the axle nuts, and shift the front C/Vs out of the way to create space.

Thanks for the info! Had to call it a day but just for the heck of it since bolts were loosened I tried compressing the shock using a prybar using upper control arm as leverage. Thing is it actually compresses at least as far as I dared to try (didn't want to completely undo the bolts since I don't know what i'm doing yet).

Here's me later sipping a cold one thinking I may also want to double check there won't be any tension on ABS wires and such.

Don't really have the whole idea set in stone yet. Autoride would need to be adjusted accordingly especially if it starts throwing errors, but as it is the whole autoride system has gone haywire as the rear axle has like 3 inch lift without any errors on the dash and nothing installed. Thought I might balance it out somehow, I really like the idea of being able to just crawl under the car without a jack whenever the inspector tells me to wipe off some horsepower sweat.
Got tired of trying to troubleshoot the rear shocks last year, and it rides just fine, I just call it severe factory rake for now.
