After posting this in the wrong forum (duh) I thought i'd put it where it belongs...

I thought I would share, as this is my third combo from these companies, I am very pleased with how it came out.

Here is the kit I bought:

Smoothtalker BTHB97IA it is for the Blackberry bold 9700, but they make kits for most phones. The kit I bought was the one that had to be hard wired in to the car. They make others that can be just plugged into the 12V outlet, but why do that if you are mounting your phone?

Here is the clip I installed:

Proclip #853306 GMC Yukon 2003-2006 - ProClip Center Mount, Low

Everything was straightforward... I mounted the cradle to the Proclip, removed the double sided tape and snapped it in place. I like this system because there are no holes to drill...

Final result:

(not pictured)
I ran the wires down the center console to the back of the console, tucking them in along the way... I then ran the wires to the fuse box and tied them into the Aux#2 fuse... which is 12V power all the time.

sorry... Proclip and smoothtalker are two different companies....

order the proclip for the location you want to install the phone...

Smoothtalker does not make a cradle that doesn't charge, as far as I saw... There has to be other iphone cradles...

b/c im crazy about wires i drilled a small hole just wide enough for the ipod wire to slide in and out easily just under the mount. very clean install. i had to remove the cupholder, center console, and losen the piece under the cig lighter pocket to get the wire in there. PITA but worth it. you can still see the plastic shavings from the drill on the carpet, lol

I use the brodit (proclip) on all my past cars, and really, cant do without!

I was wondering if any of your here use the proclip on a 07+ Tahoe? If yes, if you can share some pictures of your installation!
