Service Recommendations with Dashboard Removed

Hi all, I am going to be replacing my heater core/evap core at some point in the near future, which means I will be dropping the dashboard because I don't have any desire to cut holes anywhere for access.

For context, I am planning on refreshing the entire HVAC system so the Freon and coolant will be evacuated.

Does anyone have any recommendations of what else I should replace while I'm in there? Or any recommended threads where this has already been discussed? I thought this question would fit best in the "Interior" section, but please correct me if i am wrong.

Blend door actuators. There should be three of them and the blend doors themselves. I need to do this in 3 vehicles now. I can't afford a new dashboard, and 2 of them are in bad shape. Removing them is going to disintegrate them.
