Rubbage or no rubbage??? That is the question..

Planning on lowering within the next couple weeks and would like to double check fitment and options I searched but came up empty handed on info.

Wheel and tire size:
24x9
+20mm offset
295-35-24

Planned drop:
2"/3" using (f)spindles and (r)springs

08 Yukon with autoride

So far only come up with McGaughy's offering a setup for autoride equipped.

Any insight appreciated.

It will rub for sure. I had the exact same setup on a 24x10" rim and the same offset/tire size and it rubbed stock. After the 2" drop I had to heat the liners with a heat gun and push them back along with slight cutting of the liners.
I also say you get a Belltech 2/3 over a McG 2/3 because it will ride better.
Also aim for an offset of, or over, +30 to avoid rubbing and the wheel/tire assembly sticking out past the fenders a bit (mine did).

^ This guy knows what he is talking about.... listen! I just put my 24" Esky reps on my truck with 295s and they rubbed something awful! I now am only rubbing on the driver's side rear when it is flexed and I am turning to the right. But I did A LOT of trimming (on the rear) and using heat gun (on the front).

24x10 compared to 24x9 is alot when it comes to clearance. I previously had 24x10 w/ 305-35 and like yours it rubbed, I want to say they were 30+mm. In reality when I bought my first set, offset never crossed my mind. Now that I want to lower and remembering my previous rubbing I decided to go a bit more narrow. Currently I have not noticed any rubbing at all and the wheels do seem to poke out a tad, but this could just be my mind nit-picking. Comparing to my friends Ta/Yu's the wheels seem to poke out on there's also and there stock. Oh well, if it's just going to take some heat and reforming of the liners its just going too have to get done.

Thanks for the heads-up on BellTech, I know there an industry leader when it comes to suspension products. Already got a PM on a set up......

Modded, also I noticed your in Texas, where abouts? I'm tempted to tackle the lowering myself but if you know of a decent shop LMK.

I'm in DFW but I'm away at school right now. Most local road side mechanics and suspension shops can install the kit for a good price.

Also the width of the wheel does not matter very much if the same width tire is used, and if the rim is not as wide as the tire. So basically a 295 tire on a 9" wide rim is just as wide as a 295 tire on a 10" wide rim.
Either way, 10" is less than 295mm so no stretching will occur on either setup. Also the tire is what rubs, so mounting it on even an 8" rim is not gonna make a 295 tire (almost 12") shrink in width.
