Roof Rack cross bars

My previous 2014 Tahoe LT came equipped with crossbars, but my 2025 High Country did not. The OEM ones are very expensive, and I'm looking for a recommendation for some that are good and reasonably priced. Please let me know what you guys are using for that. Thanks!

While we're at it...
I have some concern about the current design. The rails go all the way down and butt against the roof, but the 2014 one didn't, which allowed the crossbar brackets to wrap all the way around (under) the rails, which seems like a stronger design. The newer ones will just have to hang on with tension on the sides of the rails. Has anybody had any trouble with that?

I posted this before and on my 2024 High Country I went with Thule and they fit snug and tight on the existing roof rails.

I’m getting the Thule. Yes they are expensive but why do you crappy bars on a 90k truck.

I’m had cheap ones on older trucks and they tend to make wind noise.

It's just that we have just finished winter)) but in addition to winter, we have a lot of sun and heat)))

I've had Thule Bars on my 2023 since it was new in 2023 and they've stayed on since, no issue.

I invested in the Thule Aerobars. I move them from car to car, replacing the pedestal adapters/mounts as needed. Quiet and attractive

I have the OEM bars for my 2021 Hoe, I bought them off of eBay. They work great but I feel like they’re a little tall so they look funny.

I've always thought the OEM bars look tall, too -- but don't they have to be to allow for the sun roof to function properly? (Or is that not an issue?)

That may be the reason, i hadn’t thought of that, I just assumed it was the design. I take them off and store them unless we have a road trip.
