Drove our new AT4 today for 250 miles and have a question about the media system, son was watching a Disney+ movie and we stopped for a rest area turned the vehicle off got back in about 15 minutes later and the headsets could not connect nor did the movie come up to resume play? What did we do wrong, never had rear seat media before.
BTW when we first started the trip had a heck of a time getting the GM headsets to connect and start working, took about 5-6 tries before connecting, both screens were on as well as both headsets.

Sat and let it come up, turned the headsets on which they did not want to come on, finally got the headsets to connect, then had to start over with Disney+ and then resume

So that tells me that the power to the DVD player is only key on hot and doesn't have a memory 12 volts. Cause that is what would let it play where it left off.

Yep pretty sure all the later GM Suv's are that way otherwise the battery would go dead

Well, the radio has a memory wire. And the pcm, bcm, and what ever control module has been added. So it's not that far fetched to have one on the DVD. For just a factory easy fix, it's crazy if they dont.

Update...rear seat media system had a glitch so called Onstar and they reprogrammed the system and everything started working as it should, then afterward the headsets still would not connect easily took several attempts and then when connected would disconnect so purchased another set from Amazon on sale for $16 each CLICK HERE and they now connect every time and don't disconnect. The GM set is pure junk!
