Rear gate will not open......

Just stopped.... I can pop the window open ok, but the gate won't listen to the button outside or in, nor the fob.

Can you hear a sound that sounds like the latch trying to move?

Just had the same issue fixed.
My lifgate first stopped opening electrically, then locked itself completely, still made sound but nothing opened.

Had to replace part mentioned here - https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2007-suburban-powered-liftgate-problem-fix.136635
60$, 20min.
To open the liftgate, you will need some long small stick - drill a tiny dot just to get through plastic in the back ( crawl in through the back first :grin: ), stick it in and pop it open! Bunch of videos on YT on how to do that, takes about a minute

Nope....

but after a windows reboot....IE disconnected the battery and put back.... BINGO all better...

Like rebooted "WINDOWS and Internet Explorer got disconnected" kind of reboot???
