Alright, long story short, I went to the dealer to ask about why my rear diffrential is whining during acceleration before the car gets to 15MPH and shift to the second gear. I was told that at first it was my lowering coil insulators not being there that caused it (I removed them when I installed the Pedders kit). Now they put back the insualtors and changed the ring ear and pinion and it still whine the same way after acceleration before hitting 15MPH.
Now I revisisted them about the same issue and they said it normal and even picked up a customers 08 Tahoe which did infact whine, but not as persistent as mine does. The tech said its normal wear and tear (I have 17000 miles).
The real question is do you'll think its normal (no matter the year of the Tahoe/Yukon), also do you'll techs think its normal?
I found this TSB about something about the same to the problem I'm having..... TSB #070417002.
Also how many miles you'll have will help me too.
