Thanks to the member who posted the original instructions! My install went well and completed in about 1/2 a day in the driveway. I went with all factory parts (list below) and painted the tips black with some high temp paint!

Thanks! I dont have any good pictures of the hangers. They are very straight forward to install one retainer clip and bolt per side. They also have an alignment pin built in. Total cost was right around $1000 but that was with some rewards points and a 10% discount. Below is a pic of the parts at list price.

Looks like 20% off, no?

Anyway, it looks good! Just like it should have come! Bet it sounds better too !

Very happy with the sound! It’s not like an aftermarket exhaust but a definite improvement over the old stock setup. It’s just enough.

As for the price yes it worked out to almost 20% as I had $100+ in GMC rewards points. Check the App you may have more than you think.

Great guide! Installed lower fascia today and have Borla Touring sitting in garage ready for install. Does anyone have the torque spec for the rear anti sway bar? Could not not locate. Thanks!

Anyone in the Chat know if the Stock Dual exhaust from a Yukon with 6.2l will fit on a Yukon 5.3l. Getting mixed messages. Worst case could be modified to fix by a exhaust shop..Any help would be greatly appreciated

No, it will not work. The pipe diameter on the 6.2 is larger, studs on the mounting flange are spaced further apart as well.

A good exhaust shop can chop and weld anything you ask for!

I plan on doing the same thing. There is no modification that needs to be done, correct? The dual exhaust hooks up pretty easily? Do you have pictures of the underside where it hooks up behind the spare tire?

Hi all, I have a 2023 5.3L Tahoe LT. Does anyone know if the 84964238 dual exhaust will hook up with no problems or will I need to make some modifications?

I’m new to this forum and I would like to do the same. I recently bought a 22’ Tahoe RST. I’ve searched the part number provided in this thread and when I enter my vehicle info an asterisk comes up and it says does not fit your vehicle. Has anyone else seen this?
