I've got a new (to me) 2007 Yukon. I want to check the spare tire and learn how to lower it in case I need to change a tire at 2:00 AM.
Question: There is a little 2 inch by 2 inch cover in the rear bumper that has to be opened to reach the lowering mechanism. The instruction book says "open it" (no help in how to do it). I gently tried to open it with a screwdriver but I don't want to break it. Does it pop off completely ? Is there some kind of hinge (R, L, up, down) ?
