Radio Lights problems, HELP!!

I still have my stock cd/am/fm head unit and recently the keys and display arent lighting up, so when its night time i control it by feel. Any help for me? 2002 tahoe is what i have

anyway to try another head unit temporarily to see if the problem is truck side or headunit side?

I do not know the illumination lead pin # or else you could meter taht to make sure you have 12+ forthe illumination.

Disply doesnlt light up day or night?

It happens to just about everyone. Perfect excuse to open her up and put in some different colored leds

Yeah I was thinking bout the same thing just adding a new head unti was just digging the stock look. Dont disect my vehicles much but I have been getting the itch with the tahoe
