It may not be exactly the same failure rate, but the improvements and internal process changes have not impacted the failures to the degree it should have.25s and 26s are failing just as often
The 6.2 and 5.3 should have the same failure rate for the same failure modes. In fact I could even buy into the 5.3 having higher failures due to it being taxed quite a bit. But nevertheless the failure rate on the 6.2 is still way off from 5.3.
