po740 code on a tahoe

hi every one if you run into a proplem with your truck not starting and you have to by pass with a wire from the starter relay to the battery then you see the abs and 4 wheel drive light and a po740 code pops up and the transmission wont move check the 40 amp fuse for the IGN A and B under the hood i just spent 500 to find out the fuse was no good
