Please help ID this connector

I just recently purchased this Yukon, several days after getting it home I am having issues with battery drain. I have not solved that issue yet, but I am working on it. In my search for the resolution I found this connector that appears to have been spliced for whatever reason. It comes out of a bundle of wires under the dash-goes to the first butt connectors-to the yellow connector-to the second set of butt connectors-the appears to go up and behind the gauge cluster. Any info on this would be appreciated, I dont believe this to be a stock setup, but I dont have another yukon/tahoe/burb to compare. Thanks in advance.View media item 25675View media item 25674
