anywrite up on painting the bowtie looked and searched couldnt find it. guess im a sorry SOB.lol thx guys for any info in advance.

Can't find one right now. Should be just like any other 'how to paint' on plastic.
Sand it down with 600 grit, clean it, adhesion promoter(optional), base coat(2-3 or more), Clear coat(2-3), wet sand with 1200-2000 grit in between base coats(optional). Everybody does it differently.

Remove, drop off at painter, pick up, give painter $25, install. :)

I would definitely do the adhesion promoter part. I didn't and had a heck of a time. I also had a hard time with the rustoleum brand of plastic paint. Use the krylon fusion, or testors hobby model paint. Be sure to let the paint dry at least 48 hours before putting on a clear coat. I didn't and the paint spider webbed badly. I probably ended up sanding and painting 4 times before I finally went with the plasti dip red and that worked great.
