Thinking about painting my center valance black. The lower one, in the center. What paint is best for plastics?

Don't remember the brand but I picked up a rattle can of black trim paint at Checker/O'Reilly's last year, used it to paint the trim around my stock tails so they look edged in black not faded red. I'd think if you found one that was designed for auto trim you should be ok

I used that trim paint to paint my fender wells, figured it would chip back off from rocks and whatever, I *** way surprised at how well it held up. An idea, be sure to clean the surface really well then see if you can find something like I have, Mul-TIE Adhesion Promoter & Tie-Coat. It's supposed to help paint stick to hard to paint plastics. Made by Transtar Autobody Technologies. I don't even remember what I bought it for but it might help. Interesting, I just noticed it says on the can Not for sale to or use by the general public. Oh well, I used it anyway.

Just remembered, used it to paint the flexible plastic covers to the Hella driving lights I put on my daughters Jeep. She keeps them off most of the time so hard to say if it made a difference but I can't help but think it would
