Jenna what kind of engIne hoist did you all use to get the motor in? I rented one when I bought my motor to mmove it but it sucked and didn't seem to have much height.

Blazer sick btw.

When I did the motor swap in my '77 I used an AC Delco unit. Worked well. If you're lifted much you might want to bring the front of the truck down a little bit for the engine swap so that the hoist doesn't have so far to reach up.

The plan is to put a 3/5.5 drop on it. Guess is should knock that out first. I want both done in the next month.

you can always remove the front wheels and drop down onto jack stands.. that is what we have to do with the big trucks alot..


Jenna - when are we going ot get some more progress.. it has been quite a while...?

We have a Harbor Freight hoist.

I have one from HF.. good unit for the money.. performs its job as designed..

i hate having to wait.. whats the time line on the nali mods.. i bet you are getting tired od looking at those brems sitting collecting dust.

I will definitely have Justin get a vid when he finally pulls it out of the garage. Luckily, this will bring us that much closer to actually driving it!!
