I have an 07 Yukon w/ Bose and I am looking at replacing the OEM stereo with an aftermarket unit. I considered the OEM Navigation unit but everyone says it's garbage so that option is out. What I am looking for is a unit to look as factory as possible with navigation, steering wheel controls, and rear entertainment compatible. I looked around the forum, but haven't really found anything without breaking my wallet when it somes to price. Navigation is not that important but all the other goodies I would like to be able to do like the OEM stereo. What do you guys recommend??? I am looking at spending between $500-$600.

If you want Nav and rear entertainment compatibility, you'll be paying at least $600 on just the head unit.

I'm just loooking to replace my existing unit. Navigation is not a big deal meaning I don't have to have it. I just want something that will come close to the OEM unti I have now. I want it to be flush with the dash and have pretty much all of the controls of the OEM stereo (Satellite, RES, etc).

Here's how it works. Almost all the head units come with just the basics... meaning RCA outputs for amps and power cables. Then you need to buy the antenna adapter for the FM radio($10-$20), the sirius/xm module for satellite radio ($100-$150), ipod cable for ipod integration ($30), etc.

Don't forget about an OnStar module if you want to keep your OnStar, turn signal sounds, door/light dings. Either the Axxess GMOS-LAN 2 or the PAC-OS4
