hey jewel, im guessing you are searching pretty close to where you live. i started looking further out from the city and found a lot nicer trucks in more rural areas. may not be the same for you but i definitely had better luck outside of the city. ymmv

Great suggestion sparks, I'm just trolling craigslist at the moment. I do get some hits south of Portland, but I don't have as much time these days to spend hours chasing cars. Then again, I did buy our latest BMW down in San Francisco as it was $2k cheaper than comparable cars up here.
