I'm really not ready to install them yet, but I had to test one of the them. I wanted to see what all this fuss was about 55 watt hids blinding other drivers. I also hear that these aren't designed for hids but I can't tell? I'm using the black projectors with a VVME 6k 55 watt hit kit with slim ballast. It looks pure white. I can't see a hint of blue. I just hooked up one on the drivers side. I walked about a football field away from my truck to see if they were too bright, and they were not. It had great output. I could see so much better with just one vs both of my halogen. From most of what I read I thought I was going to want to do a Morimoto Mini retro, but I'm satisfied with the Depos as is. I'm no expert on projector headlights, but I really like these. My girl has a 2013 Lexus ES350 with factory projectors and the Depo output is way better than hers. They seem to have a great cutoff with no adjustments made. I can't believe I ran stock this long! I had a hid kit before in stock housings, but it sucked compared to these Depos. I will update this thread when I install both sides. If anyone disagrees with the pics let me know?

Let me know if the cutoff is too high?

I haven't read anything about the 55 watt HID kits blinding other drivers, but it seemed as though everyone was somewhat concerned about the heat inside the depos themselves. I also recently put a 55 watt HID kit into a set of Depo projectors and I love em. Heat seems to not be an issue, I have driven for over an hour and they are fine so far.

Output looks really good...especially for an aftermarket set that dont break the bank. Id love to have that cutoff but I cant get myself to like the look of the actual lights themselves.

THANKS for the pics tho...my buddy has wanted them but afraid the cut off would be bad. He will be happy to see this thread.

I'm glad everyone likes them so far. Yeah, I'm kind of worried about the heat. If they can't take the heat I'm snatching the melted lens out and doing a retro. I was also worried about them projecting those little dots above the cutoff.

I'm not a hundred percent satisfied with the look, but I don't know what else will work for my truck? They should look better when I install the hd hood and ss bumper.

Looks great. I've been wanting to do projectors forever, and this makes me want to even more. Where exactly can you buy the Depos? I can't seem to find them online for a 2003 Yukon

Go to ebay and search "yukon depo headlight". They have the black and clear ones.

I finally installed both Depo headlights. I think the right side needs some adjusting. They shake a little when I hit a bump in the road.
