Installing a center console in a LS Tahoe

The wife's tahoe fixing to get a little bit more fancy. Finally found a center console but wrong color. Ordered Color Bond LVP to make it the correct color. Should be here Friday. Next weekend is going to be eventful. Took the console completely apart so color can get to all areas without painting any black. Should turn out great. But it was out of a Z71 so it has the rear a/c controls and entertainment controls in it. Hers doesn't have that. Is there a blank off panel that can fill that space. If not I'll have to fab one.

They have a factory pocket that goes in there. You usually can find them in the center console pickups.
Did the same swap in my 03.

You'll also need to swap out this piece for one that has the console since it's different.

Yea I got everything that i needed. But now I know what I need to get from a pickup. I made a plate to got in its place. But I will be on the lookout for a pocket now.
