Put a Prius under the hood !

You can make some small gains with things like a good MIT and high flow exhaust, new plugs /wires, and cleaning the TB and MAF. Run some Kreen in the oil for 1000 miles, and through the tank before you change the plugs. You're basically just making it as clean and efficient as you can. Beyond that it's all about how you drive her.
