Go with level and 33s u won't regret it just make sure u get correct backspacing and you won't have issues check out my sig

What do you have to do to make sure you get the correct backspacing?

I went with the ProComp ProRunner shocks to level mine. I got a 1.75 lift in the front and putting a 4 foot level on the running boards shows the truck at almost perfect level.

I picked up the pair of shocks for just over $200 (was close to needing new shocks anyway) and had a friend install them.

You will need a tool to compress the springs on a Tahoe.

The box stated that the lift would be 2.75, but online and instructions in box stated 1.75, which turned out to be correct.

I had the salesman at my local 4 wheel parts store call ProComp to confirm that they would fit my 2010 Tahoe because the web site only showed them for the Silverado 1500. ProComp confirmed and they did, in fact, fit the Tahoe.

The biggest change a leveling kit will make is the aerodynamics. With a leveling kit you will notice a slight decrease in mpg.

I am going to need you to explain to me the decrease in the MPG from a leveling kit.

On the 8" wide wheels 15-20 mm backspacing is about right you will have to use match or backspacing calculator to determine other widths. This is for fitment of 33x12.50 in order to keep from rubbing upper a arm at full lock

By lifting the nose of the truck more air is able to flow under the vehicle, hence the black plastic air dam under the front bumper. Because the bottom surface is more rigid there will be more drag. The truck was made for air to flow over it more than under it. My actual decrease in mpg was under 1 mpg, do it wasn't much.

Same here. I'm good for 6' 9”. Don't know about 6' 8” because I haven't found a garage that low. I do know 6' 7” is too low.
