ok. first, you don't wanna dye your lights, so you gotta take them out.

take a razor blade knife or something sharp and cut the mushroom tops (circled in red) between the black and the top.

then do the same thing for the pocket, again, circled in red in the above picture.

those will just pop out and.

go into the kitchen, shop, etc. and find a bottle of dawn dish detergent.

wash it really good and then dry it.

take it outside and use your dye. i chose the duplicolor for now.

the color i chose is charcoal.

i put a couple of light coats and a couple of heavy coats after that and it turned out really good.

this works with any plastics and matches the 03+ charcoal.

to reassemble, you can use some SMALL screws with washers

Hmmmm, reminds me of an episode of Unique Whips.

Remy used rattle cans to paint an entire dash. IIRC, it started to flake almost immediately.

Im not typing that will be the case with your stuff.

actually, i have an escalade console that i dyed and i tested the dye with my key and it didn't scrape off after 2 months.

Thats legit, i was actually looking to do the same, i have the exact same color on my dash trim and a few other pieces to accent it, one year and no flaking problems at all

I got the cb hooked up (for the most part) I need to run the CB wire, but im going to either have to drop the head liner, Or move the antenna to the front (most likely what im doing), but it fits in there great. I used self tappers to put the stuff back in there.

Exactly, MY sub rattled it loose one day, was funny I was driving and bam it flopped down on me.

this happend to me when i first hooked up my 2 15" L7's. except it was the front overhead that rattled loose and i actually caught this before it fell. that screw was a pain to get back in there.
