How much voltage goes to the rear defogger/defroster?

My icey rear window didnt defrost today, and it's been bugging me for a while.

I just checked the fuse (30A good) and relay (goes clicky-clack when I hit the button), and the fuse is seeing over 12v on both sides.

The metal terminals on the defroster glass are in good shape, no corrosion or broken attachment to the glass.

There is continuity from one terminal to the other.

You could still have a bad relay contact internally even though it makes noise like it's making contact. I'd swap the relay with another one identical to it from the fuse block and see if that does it.
