I have a 99 Tahoe base (Work Truck Grill) 2DR 4x4 with about 195K. The Driver headlight which has daytime running lights sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. When it does go out and if I hit the high beams it turns works but will not work with low beams. Then the next day or when ever it decides the next time I turn on the truck it will work again. I have pulled the plug and cleaned it. The wiring to the plug looks ok. I have no idea unless its wiring issues elsewhere what is causing this. Anyone have any ideas?

the fact that it is happening in one lamp makes it the low beam wire for that lamp or the lamp itself.
