I am wanting to upgrade my headlights. Not sure if I want to do the HID kit yet. I have seen some suvs/cars with headlights that have almost a light aqua color to them. Are there HID's that have this color or are those Halogens? Are there any member with this color that could post pics for me? Thanks.

Yes, there are several colors for HID's. Each color is a kelvin temperature. For example bright white would be in the 5,000K-6,000K temperature. Aqua blue would be 8,000K+.

Keep in mind with HID's, you get what you pay for.

Also the higher you go in temperature, the more light output you lose. A 6,000K HID kit would be a lot brighter than a 10,000K HID kit.

DDM Tuning 35w HID Raptor kit, about $40, much better light output than stock. Get as close to 4300k for a white output similar to OEM HID's (I think they have a 4500k). I've had one for well over a year with great results. Easy install.

I have the xentec 6000k fogs from ebay and they are the aqua color you're talking about. Just remember, 6000k from brand A will not always be the same color as 6000k from brand B.

If you want a really great set of 4300K 35w or any color really let me know. My buddy owns a shop locally I have purchased close to 12 kits plus all sorts of LEDs from him. Never once has anything flickered. He also has cancelers and relays and his sets are in 35w and 55w. His LED set ups are cheap to but the bulbs are a Japanese brand. Kits are usually about 50$ and go up depending on wattage and the harness of you need it. He also warranties for 2 years.
