So I'm kinda late in getting an HD hood but came across a really good deal on one that I found at the local junkyard. The question I have is about the light on the HD hood that lights the engine bay. The hood is off of an 02 and I have an 04 Tahoe and my original hood didn't have a light so I was wondering if this can be wired to my truck? I'm new to the site so don't know how to post pics. The light has two wires coming off of it. One is orange and the other is black. On my firewall where the wires come out there is a harness of wires with a gray, orange, pink, black, blue and yellow wire. Can I just splice the orange and black to get this light to work with my truck? Thanks
