Funny Navigation Story

So I bought my denali a few weeks ago. The Nav unit has been making a weird noise and not working at all. So I pulled it to find someone had shoved a katy perry cd in there on top of the nav dvd. I got it out...eventually. Put everything back in. Started the truck and the navigation worked like a boss....

10 minutes later "CD Error"..... FML

Stinking Katy Perry. It's all your fault

Hopefully the Katy Perry CD was alright. Wouldn't want to lose that.
I don't know much about the older Denali's, but can you just replace the nav DVD...or burn a new one?

The dvd itself is fine. I think it the unit that isn't working properly. I guess I'll just save up for an aftermarket unit with nav. Any good ones out there?
