Here's a funny little thing...

The defrost symbol on the vent selector is all the way to the right.
The air is then supposed to blow up and on the windshield and on the side windows, right? Well, on my car i this position the air blows from the vents on the dash straight out in the cabin. You know the way it is suppose to blow when the selector is all the way to the left. Funny.

And guess what? when the selector is all the way to the left, you know the symbol that points the air straight at You. Well, the air blows up at the windshield and out from the small vents pointing to the side windows...Funny thing.

My heater does not work well at all either. I'm getting the haynes book and then to the shop if that does not work out.

Anyone got any good ideas?

ahemm...hmmm

I probably should delete the thread..but..why not leave it anyway.
I'm sure this will happen to more than me.

What I did just now was to go down in my garage, I took out and checked/reset all fuses that have anything to do with the heater/ac system.
Wouldnt You know. The heater system works now as it is supposed to, the heat is even crankig full hot. All positions on the selector corresponds to the vents.

I wonder if my resent battery disconnect/connect history could have influenced the climate control computer somehow.

Anyway, it works as normal again.

Do you disconnect the batt first before pulling fuses? If not, when you've disconnected batt before, did you leave it for a few minutes? Just trying to figure out how previous batt disconnect affected the hvac, when pulling fuses does almost the same. Sorry, still a noob...
