front console cigarette lighter/power port

hey there, just curious as to what people use the inside cigarette lighter/power port (inside the front console) for?

small cooler?
power inverter?

I use it for 12 volt power! My phone/GPS.

Use it for my phone and radar. I tried hooking up an xbox to it once with no luck.
