four bye engagement..

give me a break down of how the 4x4 engagements happens...

what i know..

dash switch (most common problem) - i've resoldered it.. thinking a new one soon..

encoder motor on case.. i hear mine clunking from 2/4hi/4lo - generally..

front diff/axles/hubs -- are what i don't know about.. overrun hubs..? electromagnetic couplers..? fml..


dash switch reads 2hi.. but occasionally on wheel spin it acts a fool.. feels like my mechanical 2way lsd in my s13.. clunking, noisy, pushed the front low on power.. LIKE ASS.. i have had the red n light come on.. while driving.. i have had it be in 4lo on start up..

i'm sick of this shit..
