If you dont mind sharing, how much did the wheel job and black trim job cost? I’ve got a couple ultimates in my sights and will do the same.

About 15K..But worth it to have done professionally, quickly, and by the same guy that did my 21. The price goes up when you replace chrome with factory black parts and remove, prep and automotive paint and clearcoat every part you can't replace. There are also little details that were painted that cheaper places will gloss over, omit or put film on because they are too hard to deal with....

Honestly what’s an extra 15k when dropping 100k+ on a vehicle. If it keeps it looking great and more importantly, exactly as the owner wants, it’s money well spent.

Yep, you get it... I'm not going to have many more new vehicles, and I like the compliments I get when people finally figure out that it is a unique configuration and that it is all paint and not film.... 5 yrs from now...it will still look this good. I'm old and slow, but I only hand wash my vehicles....

Very nice car. I am looking at the option of importing a 2025 Yukon from the USA, but I already want to try the diesel engine. But the 2025 interior is cool.

Bumping this thread @Stbentoak as I’m looking at an identical vehicle and was wondering what all pieces you had blacked out on yours?

Basically, every piece that was chrome or Vader chrome was either replaced with AT4 black pieces from the factory or removed, prepped, and automotive painted and clear coated to achieve a factory like finish . Zero film used...

Did you do gloss or satin? Appears to be gloss, especially on the wheels.

Did you also paint the Vader chrome or leave that as is? Edit: sorry, saw you even replaced this so it’s all one color/shade.

Gloss... On my 21 they have dulled ever so slightly, and a coat of wax brings them right back....

Yes, I had a choice of body color or black. I thought in this case that the black stuck out a little too much although I did have black on my 21. I'm looking for a little bit more cohesive look on this 25. Still pretty happy with it.....

Awesome and I agree! What did that portion run you? I’m not a fan of all black and I also think wrapping the chrome black (they can do it) will look odd. ..

The guy that painted my body parts black also painted my door handles the body color. It was included in the price of everything else.

Thank you again for your inspiration! Just finished my chrome delete (minus door handles; not decided here), and am expecting to have my level/35 inch recon grapplers with Vossen wheels installed next week!
